Efficient, Accurate Equitable and Secure Land Records Management & Information System in Punjab. Government of Punjab took an initiative to put all Land Record on online so that accurate and efficient system is developed to ease of the land owner, A month ago it is pleasure to inform all concerned that this system is functioning effectively. Every one knows that for obtaining land “Fard” it took lot of time and energy and pay heavy amount to the “Patwari Mafia” for this purpose. With the introduction of this new Land Recorde Management System, every one can obtain the required land documentation. The system is very simple. Go to the concerned Land Record Management Office established at Tehsil Level, get a token and the officials will start processing the case. First of all NADRA verification is made only take 5 minutes. The case is again verified with the system to check the land location of the owner. After all verification on the sport picture is taken with bio-matric and within an half hour you will get the required documentation with signed and stamp at cost of Rs. 150.00. After introduction of this system no other Land Revenue official either Patwari or Tehsildar or any other person is allowed to issue such documentation. Moreover Fard for land sale change of name all such tasks are done by this new system. Only the owner of the land is allowed to get the land documents no other person or his/her relative is allowed to get the documentation on his/her behalf. Moreover, there is no sign of corruption and no one is authorized to receive the access fee. I think this is a great initiative taken by the Government of Punjab particularly for the rural areas where the non-educated persons are suffering.
